justrollthediceJackson Harlow might sound like a cheesy name of some romance novel (which wouldn't surprise him since his late mother had been obsessed), but he's just like anyone else. Except he owns a few hotels and restaurants in Vegas and Los Angeles. He came up from nothing with a single mother and as an only child, well biologically. His mom took in the occasional lost soul who just needed a place o stay away from whatever hell they were escaping. He keeps in contact with some of them, even has one working for him. He is much like his mother in that regard, if you find a place in his life he will stand by you for anything, with some obvious exceptions. Break a law or hurt someone and he's done.
He was briefly married to his high school sweetheart, but she was killed by a truck driver who decided to not sleep and drive straight through a long trip. He fell asleep and swerved and their car didn't stand a chance. She made it to the hospital and held on for three days before succumbing to her injuries. Before she died she did manage to give birth to their twins, Jefferson and Christabel. Those two little souls are his world and he will do anything for them. The twins are now four and have pops wrapped around their fingers, especially Christabel. He doesn't however like to talk about the tragedy that brought them into his world a month early.
Jax or Jack, as his friends call him, has dated off and on yet nothing sticks. He is a busy business man and a dad, and there are some women who just can't deal with that. Or rather he seems to attract the type that wants all his time and money spent on them. He once had a girl tell him after a few months of dating that if they got married he'd have to send the kids to boarding school because she was no one's mama, so he told her she was no one's girlfriend either.
Some important people in his life.
Christabel Harlow: his four year old daughter who is Jefferson's twin. She was the first one born, beating Jeff by a few minutes and was named after Jax's mother. She is smart for her age and like her brother enjoys going to work with daddy. She has no filter however and will often tell someone what she thinks. Something Jackson is working on.
Jefferson Harlow: his four year old son who is Christabel's younger twin. He likewise was named for a late family member. His maternal grandfather who passed away from cancer. Wendy had wanted to name their son after him, and in memorial Jax did as she had wanted.
Jasmine Herrera: One of the kids his mother took in and someone he views as a sister. She has been a god send in helping with the kids. They call her Tia and she just adores them. She will get angry mama bear on anyone wanting to harm them or look at them wrong.
Wendy Herrera: Jasmine's wife and another Jax trusts with his kids. She is tough as nails and helps keep the kids in line. The disciplinarian out of the three. Not saying Jax doesn't discipline, but Wendy just puts her foot down more. She knows Jax and Jasmine work alot so she just tries her best to help.
Kenny Ryan: One of the kids his mother took in and someone he views as a brother. He trusts him so much he has him running one of the restaurants in Los Angeles so he can spend more time with his kids, as well as being able to be present in his businesses in Vegas. Kenny is the man he goes to when he needs someone to help him out. Kenny is a bit of a player, not something Jax approves of but hey who is he to tell him to stop? As long as he doesn't hurt someone, but so far he is up front about not looking for serious.
